Terms of Use
Requirements
- An active trading account at SSI
- Register for FastConnect via the Developer Portal and get approved
- Agree to the Terms of Service
User Responsibilities
- Keep API Key, API Secret, and access tokens secure. Do not share, commit to source code, or expose credentials
- Comply with system rate limits
- Comply with Vietnamese securities regulations
- Do not abuse the API (spam, attacks, exploit vulnerabilities)
When Can an Account Be Locked?
An API account may be temporarily locked in the following cases:
- Violation of Terms of Service
- Detection of abnormal activity (security alert)
- Request from regulatory authorities (SSC)
- Customer-requested lock
Contact support to restore your account.
Trading orders placed via the API are real orders that directly affect your securities account. Thoroughly test your logic before deploying to production.
Environments
Production
The primary environment for real data and live trading.

UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
A testing environment for development and integration. Simulated data; trades do not affect real accounts.
UAT environment details will be announced once the environment is ready for customer trials.

Market Data APIs and WebSocket are available 24/7. Outside trading hours, prices do not update but historical data queries remain accessible.
Rate Limits
The system enforces rate limits per API Key. Rate limit information is returned in response headers:

X-RATELIMIT-RESET | Time when the limit resets |
When the rate limit is exceeded, the API returns HTTP 429 Too Many Requests. Wait until the X-RATELIMIT-RESET time before making further requests.
